SouthHacks is WWP's first student-run hackathon, which aims to bring high school students together in solving the next generation's problems while being a fun event.

SouthHacks, at its core, is an event designed for students to have access to top-quality opportunities and resources that might be hard to find, all while trying to help solve major current event problems that our generation will have to face. And we mean everyone. We will be having both in-person and online components to our hackathon, with the online portion consisting of live-streamed workshops and speeches from the in-person event. Online attendees will be able to interact with the speakers, helpers, and hackers at the event in real-time using our Discord server and will even be able to ask questions during the live workshops. Our vision for the online component is to make our event a hub for decentralized community engagement - as if you were right there with us, even if you are sitting thousands of miles away. Furthermore, we will be introducing new game-changers in the space of tech such as digitalization and AI-driven automation: stuff that is changing our world as you read this! We hope to encourage young enthusiasts for the future that we will face as a generation, all while they are developing key problem-solving skills that they will be using for the rest of your life.
